With the 40 ST, you embark on a step towards the future: the traditional triangular mainsail evolves here towards a squarer shape. This Square Top rig, offered as an option on the Solaris 40, offers you increased efficiency with more power at the head of the sail, while remaining easier to handle thanks to a shortened boom, almost as long as the J of the jib.

You enjoy performance that is both aerodynamic and hydrodynamic, while gaining space in the cockpit — ideal if you wish to install a bimini there. You retain all the seagoing qualities of the Solaris 40: hull with strong forward buoyancy, wide aft sections for your twin rudders, and a full-width twin-wheel helm station.
