Solaris Yachts 60

With the Solaris 60, launched in 2020, you sail on a model that marked a new way of designing and building, lastingly influencing yacht design for the following decade. This 18.31-metre Mini-Maxi was designed to allow you to take part in offshore regattas of its category, including the flagship Porto Cervo event held every year.

The main innovation of the Solaris 60 lies in its cockpit, fitted with full-width tiller-style wheels: you steer without ever being hindered by the sprayhood, for an always-clear view of the luff of the jib. The width of the steering system allows you to lower the lifelines aft and raise them near the steps leading to the side decks — a solution usually reserved for sailing yachts over 140 feet. Several seats are available behind the wheels, to steer comfortably whatever the conditions, even seated.

Below deck, you find a typically Solaris layout with a galley set slightly back, accessed by two steps, and for the first time two aft cabins with single or double beds, fitted with a large porthole looking onto the cockpit. Your owners cabin, forward, impresses with its volume and storage capacity, with the choice of an offset or central bed. Particular attention has also been paid to the crew cabin, installed forward with its own bathroom. Your longitudinal-access tender garage encroaches only very slightly on the aft cabins.
